What is a man and van service?
A man and van service is a flexible way to move furniture, boxes, appliances and other loads without automatically booking a full-scale removals service. It can suit anything from a single bulky item to a small flat move, depending on the vehicle, number of helpers and distance involved.
When can it be useful?
Common jobs include furniture collections, marketplace purchases, student moves, storage runs, small home moves, office items and one-off deliveries. The important thing is to describe the load accurately so providers can quote for the work you actually need.
What affects the price?
Distance matters, but it is not the only factor. The amount and size of the load, stairs, parking, waiting time, loading help, number of people required, vehicle size and timing can all affect a quote. Giving good information at the start makes quotes easier to compare.
Compare more than the headline price
A cheap quote is not automatically the right quote. Look at the provider’s customer feedback, the vehicle they intend to use, what loading help is included and any message attached to the quote. NAMNAV lets the customer make that choice rather than selecting a provider for them.
Man and van FAQs
How do I get a man and van quote?
Post the collection and delivery details, date, item or load description and loading requirements on NAMNAV. Independent providers can then submit their own quotes.
Is posting a job on NAMNAV free?
Yes. Customers can post a job and receive quotes without a customer posting fee.
Does NAMNAV choose the driver for me?
No. NAMNAV is a marketplace. You compare the quotes and available customer feedback and decide which independent provider you want to use.
When are my contact details shared?
Your private contact details are not intended to be shown on the public job listing. Relevant contact details are shared with the selected provider after you accept a quote.
